About Portal Card Access System
i³'s Portal Card Access System provides an extremely powerful, cost effective, integrated access control and facility management solution. The system offers 2 door access controls and up to 32 doors when connecting to 16 control boards. It's a stand alone system that is very easy to install and operate by both the installer and the user. It supports a 26 bit Wiegand access card or higher 46 bit input format.Communication is possible via the RS-232 serial connection which is popular on most PCs using Windows O/S. However, a network communication is also possible via a module upgrade. Portal can handle 2,000 users. Driven by i³'s proprietary software, the system provides an ideal, modular and expandable solution for commercial and institutional needs. It provides seamless integration with any of i³DVR Digital Video Management Systems allowing users to monitor video and card access information.
The Portal Card Access System can integrate and provide valuable data of who, when, where, and for long the individual enters a premise. It's a great solution for managers of small businesses who need to keep track of employees without incurring high implementation costs.
